Festive Fun at Warwick Castle

This Christmas, treat your family to a wonderful winter wonderland experience as the UK's favourite castle transforms its grounds into a magical Christmas Tree Forest.

With almost 600 towering Christmas trees, a breathtaking display of ice effect sculptures and a menagerie of magical creatures, Warwick Castle promises to be the ultimate Christmas destination for 2008.

Little Princesses will love Story Time with the Snowflake Fairy (held daily). This event is set against the backdrop of the castle's lavishly decorated State Rooms with the castle's merry band of minstrels providing a timeless soundtrack. Adventurous young knights will enjoy braving the castle and grounds on foot via the medium of the Christmas Tree Trail and Jack Frost's Hunt for the Fairytale Princess.

As well as this, there will be a whole host of festive children's characters putting in an appearance throughout the month of December, including the Christmas Elf, naughty Jack Frost, the Snowflake Fairy and the Fairytale Princess. What Christmas celebration would be complete without a chance to meet Father Christmas himself? An Audience with Santa is held every day and gives children and adults alike the opportunity to play games, sing a Christmas Carol and enjoy a bite to eat with Santa's little helpers. Every child is given a special gift to take home in memory of their fairytale adventures.

Also happening this year is the popular Crafts at the Castle. The fair (which is back by popular demand) takes place at the East Front of the Castle selling a range of craft items and Christmas gift ideas.
